Three promising business points for the future of medicine
I am making plans for my next medical strategy; the bio-networks system(1). Fundamentally, the medical system is based on digital signals that are converted from vital signs in the human body. To outline the feasibility of the system, I will categorize three promising fileds for this next-generation medical development. One is related to the field of medical materials, which include drugs, second is medical devices that have smart digital network terminal units, and third is body parts that are equivalent to tissue engineering. The bio-networks system will connect these three elements working together with the digital network, and this systematic approach will make it possible for patients to have their illness treated with precision medicine. In other words, the bio-networks strategy will integrate the three fields with digital signals that are converted from vital signs in the whole human body. Thus, a next-generation drug will become “a combinational product”.
To ensure progress is made with this strategy, we must take notice of the most advanced new technology, such as small sensors, sensitive detectors and wireless network systems, that have enabled us to produce new medical treatments with technological innovation. Recently, there are some innovative devices that have transformed traditional medical treatments into digital technology. However, in my opinion, there is an insufficiency for some innovative medicines because the divisional digital signals are not integrated. Therefore, I would like to re-emphasise the significance of the bio-networks strategy that will integrate all digital signals of vital sign in the human body. As a result, the systematic digital treatments with precision medicine can greatly enhance the patient's natural healing power.
Next, I suggest three promising tools that will be essential to construct the bio-networks system as follows;
1. Collect digital data from the vital signs of the human body
2. Make medical data for patients, preferably by readily available visual images
3. Give patients the opportunity to select instructive treatments for by themselves
Firstly, tools to correct vital signs in the human body are very important because the digital data is a base to create new medical treatments. Secondly, developments of smart medical tools that will produce clear reports and suitable health care will lead laymen and laywomen to become intelligent patients who will search for their medical treatments by themselves. In the not too distant future, their actions will allow them to become voluntary central figures for the future medical user innovation. Thirdly, a choice of their intelligent treatments will improve social security systems because the system will enter a market mechanism of cost-effective analysis by a open-voluntary decision on new digital medicine.
Interestingly, there is a growing need for various industries to cooperate over these new medical technologies. In addition, there would be a strong demand of a new medical ecosystem to cultivate medical people concerned with collaboration across a broader field for developments of new medical treatments between patients, healthcare professionals and creators. Thus, the bio-networks strategy will allow them cooperate in supplying information on digital networks.
Bio-networks systems are a promising strategy for various industries because the cutting edge of medical innovation needs to integrate various new technologies for medical treatments. Thus, next-generation drugs will integrate these fields to become “a combinational product”. Consequently the medical business must bring about collaborations from professionals within various types of industry. Moreover, the bio-networks strategy will make a new systematic approach for productivity in a social security system. Certainly, the gentle combination that will be integrated by the bio-network strategy can make new medical fees, which are created by systematic exchanges among various medical transactions, and what's more, the bio-networks will produce new systematic services on traditional medical fields. Thus, a new integrated medical industry in line with the advancement of the digital age will gradually replace traditional medicine. During this period of a medical strategic transformation I am looking for some creators who must think broadly and holistically about how to create digital strategic transformation for the bio-networks strategy in new digital medicine.
